SMALL POTATOES is playing a real LIVE, in the flesh, CONCERT this SATURDAY, SEPT 3rd, in DeKALB IL at the "FARGO VENUE", 641 E. Lincoln Hwy (Rt 38), starting at 7:00pm. This is the very first of the “1st SAT. CONCERTS” put together by Dave DK Kolar. We are sharing the evening with our dear friend PATTI ECKER (the other person in the picture who is not Jacquie or Rich). This will be a sort of adventure for all of us since 641 E. is actually a Skateboard Shop with a very cool Skateboard Park right behind. But fear not, just to the RIGHT of that (645?) is a big, lovely room with a gorgeous blue floor that really wants to be filled with friends and music. So come on out to DeKalb on Saturday and ... LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!

Patti Ecker and Don Sherman will present a music and spoken-word program titled “Illinois and The Great War: Honoring the Armistice” to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armistice on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 11:00 am at Rosehill Cemetery May Chapel, 5800 N. Ravenswood, Chicago, IL.This special program will include popular WWI songs (sung by Patti) and firsthand accounts from Illinois war veterans, nurses and volunteers (read by Don).Reenactors will represent all periods in American military history for a tribute. Staring with the American Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Mexican-American War, The Civil War, the Spanish-American War, WWI, WWII, Korea , Vietnam and also the current Afghanistan/Iraq War impressions.

Hear a special segment for the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day, with live in studio: Patti Ecker and Don Sherman Jr.. They will highlight Illinois soldiers and nurses. Hear songs and readings! 8:30-9 p.m. central. Also hear new music from Roseanne Cash (first half hour). Later hear an all-instrumental third hour as your Election Night soundtrack while you monitor results. All HEAR on Tues.
